Jeff Beck , the well known Britsh guitar virtuoso died at the age of 78. The cause of death is infection by bacterial menengitis as it was stated by his family.
Beck was well known from his time with YARDBIRDS, BECK-BOGERT-APPICE and his own group THE JEFF BECK GROUP and his solo career. A guitar player who moved from the blues to hard rock to fusion, rock n roll with Imelda May and made his more commercial effort with the album "Flash" in 1985.
His unique style, quiet approach and classy performance made him one of a kind. His latest collaborations with Johnny Dep was much criticized as a helping hand to the actor but nevertheless shown his wide approach to music as an art without selfishness.
