Politicians play pretend, big investors have bought the land
We cut the grass and all the trees to build skyscrapers and factories
Construction sites cover the land, we’re building the houses we get to rent
They thought us only to obey the rest of the knowledge seems to fade away
They put managers in politics all the elections have been rigged
We will be making all the money they spent with taxes we pay to a government
That ignores the future that your country needs, the country is sold to companies
And they will decide what to do with you and me
Some still believe they speak the truth, tell me what the hell is the matter with you? I can’t believe that you believe in the illusion of
Democracy, can’t you see it’s fuckery
To make believe that we are free, that we can change society
Is a lie they call Democracy
The earth is rich and can provide, food for us all we’d be alright
But now everybody has to pay to eat, since we have no land to plant a seed
Local businesses closing doors everybody shall be equally poor
The few that have it all still want more and more
